Ah life, one minute you’re eight watching E.T. with your grandma and when Michael comes over the hill and the camera pans down to show a chalky white E.T. lying face down in the wash you burst into tears, the next you’re 30.9 and you pretty much cry though the whole thing.
Ten reasons to see E.T. again.

1. Has to be top three children acted movies ever.
2. There’s a corn field in his back yard
3. The score half star wars half indy, all yummy
4. By my count the three Star wars nods.
5. Flying bikes
6. Its eighties-tastic
7. He makes a radar out of a soup can a record player and speak and spell, E.T. was the first McGyver
8. The special edition didn’t screw with the original’s story just some FX (unlike the other "special editions" by that one guy GL)

10. Is Harrison Ford the science teacher?
