I'm reading The Ultimate Spider-Man trade paper backs and they are really really good. Brian Michael Bendis' writing sucks you into Peters teenage life. Peters not very good at being Spider-Man ,he looses fights and repeatedly blows his secret identity. If you likes the tone of the films this is very similar.
