Its the mystery item game!I found this today and it took me a while to remember what it was. I was thinking of posting a picture of it and asking if any one new what it was but then I remembered and decided to make a game out of it WEEE! SO let the guessing begin.

It is a water pump handle.
It's an antique catheter that you discovered in Tommy's old bedroom. It was invented before rubber, so they had to use the "drill/screw" techinque to firmly lodge that sucker in there.
Interestingly enough, Tommy actually forgot it was still attached until it came dislodged in a recent marathon. Now that he's a highrolling mortage man, he can finally afford one of those new-fangled rubber ones.
You didn't happen to find his paper colostomy bag too did you?
I was guessing a water pump handle, but after reading other comments reallized that some annonymous person had gone into the future, read my mind, and posted their comment before me. So, I'll second the water pump conclusion. I laughed so hard that I almost need to borrow that contraption if Jeremiah is correct in his assumption.
